Property Tax Appeals
BTI performs an appraisal when a property owner believes the Tax Assessor has valued their property at more than its worth and has filed a tax appeal. Sometimes, the matter can be settled on the initial valuation. If not, there is a formal appeal process where the property owner’s appraiser and the assessor appear to make their cases before a panel, which then decides the final appraised value. Occasionally, tax appeals include business equipment.
“Thank you for the appraisal report – I appreciate the high quality work BTI did in a short period of time. We will certainly reach out to you if we need other appraisal work to be done.”
